Photo critique: Let it out!

A portrait shot with a ton of feeling! This was called, "scream out all that crap" it definitely caught my attention! I like the lighting and the extreme close up and the emotion...very cool to look at! This would be a neat photo to frame if you knew this person... :)

Photo critique: Beautiful intense eyes...

As I was looking at photos on flickr, I came across this shot of a young girl's intense eyes. It made me stop and stare into them. That's why I chose this photo. You can't help but wonder what she's thinking, and the fact that her mouth is covered reveals to the viewer how important seeing someone's mouth is. Is she somewhat smiling, is she straight mouthed...you can only guess by looking into her gorgeous eyes...which wasn't hard to look at. I love this portrait shot...it's so intimate.

Photo Critique: Cool mirror image...

I thought this looked really neat. This is a mirror that she's pointing at, and looking at her image. I like the abstract nature of it, and I like the coloring, too. It looks fantasy like.

Photo critique: Icky toddler habits!

I chose to use this photo for critique because I love the toddler aspect of this shot. They really have no clue how dirty things are, or the concept of germs. I also like the fresh lighting in this photo and the close up. Candid moment for sure!

Photo Critique: Roof jumpers!

I took this shot of my teen sons who were jumping roofs! They're insane! The color of the image was so hard to see that I just tweaked it into this...I liked the sillouette effect of them all black against the blue sky. Of course the exaggerated "blue" sky. The color originally was very bland and didn't capture their presence. I like this photo because you're able to see their stance and their body form and the dark quality of it. This is the Hoover Elementary roof in Corvallis. Trouble makers!

Photo Critique: A quiet moment...

I took this photo of my daughter. I loved the quiet moment, and the close up. I also like the mysterious quality, because you can't see her whole face. The colorful sweater adds a sweet feeling, too. Ok, I love children! Just noticed, I have a lot of pics of kids on my blog!
